Open Enrollment Director
Emory Executive Education
Goizueta Business School
Job # 77009
Deadline for applications: October 15
The OE Director is part of our team that manages the Open Enrollment Portfolio of short courses and certificates at the Goizueta Business School (GBS). This role is responsible for planning and executing the sales generation and lead conversion process for individuals and institutions wanting to leverage our courses for career and talent development.
Working in partnership with the marketing team, the faculty and the program management team, the Director is responsible for developing sales plans to target specific audiences and institutions, for developing relationships with organizations that need an L&D partner, and ensuring our programs are relevant and attractive to non-degree learners.
This requires the Director to monitor and explore trends in work force development, learning and development and higher education. It also requires the Director to suggest and pilot new ideas and approaches. Having a curious, growth mindset, an ability to champion, plan and execute new ideas as well as direct the execution of existing programs, a willingness to establish and develop relationships with external L&D managers and advise individuals about our programs are all important for success.
Establishing clear value propositions, learning objectives, capturing impact and matching programs to learners’ development needs is part of the value that this role brings, as well as participation in Emory Executive Education outreach efforts and events.
Ideally you will have five or more years of consultative sales and business development, human resource development or higher education experience in a market facing role. An understanding of university-based executive education is a plus. The ability to generate new business relationships and close individual leads generated by marketing efforts is critical, as is the ability to effectively communicate (verbal, written, presentation) with business professionals and faculty and represent the Goizueta and Emory Executive Education brand.
In addition, you will be a strong team player, with a collaborative approach to your work, and be willing and able to use your initiative and energy to actively grow the impact of the Open Enrollment business.
A master’s degree is strongly preferred.
This position is currently remote but will transition to a flexible basis with some on-campus time in 2022.
