Located in sunny Los Angeles, UCLA Anderson Executive Education seeks a Senior Director of Business Development to join our exciting and innovative team!

The Senior Director of Business Development oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales and business development plan, with the goal of increasing revenues and profits, building brand awareness, and maximizing the effectiveness of the UCLA program portfolio.

Reporting to the Associate Dean and a key member of Executive Education team, the successful candidate supports UCLA’s strategic mission by employing their expertise in the field of executive development, knowledge of the executive education marketplace, and faculty expertise.

The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for their own client relationships, conducting a wide variety of business development and customer relations activities, and guiding a team to increase open program enrollments and sell custom programs.

They identify programming trends, creates custom and open enrollment programming opportunities, and sells the entire UCLA Anderson product line. They initiate, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances and partnerships domestically and internationally to expand the reach of UCLA EE worldwide. In addition, they focus on program design and development, faculty relations and outreach.

Demonstrated sales and sales management experience, with expertise in CRM software systems, is required (Salesforce preferred). Excellent client management and consultative sales skills, with proven experience establishing successful, long-term business relationships with the senior level executives of corporations, trade associations and non-profit entities is essential.
